Barnwood's Got Talent 2019
The annual Barnwood's Got Talent final was held on the 22nd October. The evening consisted of nine acts, two performances from a Dance club and our last year’s winners Hollie and Will and was presented by the double act Knight and Fuller.
Nine acts made it through to the final out of twenty-six students who auditioned over four lunchtimes the week before and they were all brilliant! The acts consisted of a year 8 Beatboxer who was a finalist for the second year in a row, a beautiful piece on the piano by a brilliant year 7 and a variety of singers and dancers. The four judges had a hard time picking just one winner, and two runners up.
Our runners up were Lacey-Mae Allen who performed a beautiful song while also signing the words which must be very hard to do, and Hanah Pars and Daisy Mansfield who performed a stunning dance together.
Our winners for this year were Phoebe Pearson and Millie-Rose Beckerleg who performed a song coupled with the Ukulele, well done both.
All students' performed to a very high level and the judges had a really tough time choosing so please try again next year. We can safely say yet again that Barnwood really does have talent!
