The food students eat at school plays an important role in their wellbeing, and eating a well balanced diet will not only maintain and improve their health, but will also set them on the right track for later life. We understand this and that’s why we, at Aspens Services, are passionate about serving fresh, high quality and locally sourced food that is cooked in our kitchen.
What’s on the Menu and when is it available
We have a range of food and drinks available at different times of the day.
Breakfast Club – 8:15am to 8:40am
Break – 11:15am to 11:35am
Lunch – 1:35pm - 2:15pm

Client Statement - RE Food Standards Authority Mustard Statement In light of the recent Urgent Food Standards Authority Statement Urgent Allergy Advice: Mustard Ingredients Contaminated with Peanuts | Food Standards Agency regarding the advice that all people with a Peanut Allergy should avoid any product that now contains Mustard, Aspens are issuing updated guidance to outline how we are managing this issue and ensuring the safety of our clients. While we believe the risk to our business is low and that our existing safety protocols are robust, we want to reassure you by detailing the steps we are taking to mitigate any potential risks. Steps Taken: ● We have identified all ingredients in our supply chain that contain mustard. ● None of the recipes in our Primary Core Menus include mustard. ● We have informed all units and catering managers of this advisory. ● A customer-facing document advising those with peanut allergies to avoid mustard has been distributed to all units and placed on service counters. ● We have compiled and shared a list of mustard-containing ingredients across our supply chain with all units. ● Our standard robust procedures for manually completing daily allergen matrices for all cooked dishes remain in place. Additionally, we have consulted Worcestershire Environmental Health Officers (EHO) through our Primary Authority Partnership for further advice and updates. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide updates in line with government guidelines. The safety of the children we feed remains, and will always be, our top priority. |

At Aspens - we take our responsibility of catering for today’s students and young adults seriously. All of our dishes are prepared everyday using quality, fresh and seasonal ingredients that are responsibly sourced.
As well as ensuring the food on the plate is healthy, we have a range of fun and exciting activities that we run to help give our customers a set of skills for the future. Healthy eating can be a fun and an enjoyable experience and trying new foods can be exciting. Special Diets
Students who may need a special diet can also enjoy our great food - they are an important part of our catering service. We can provide food if they have an intolerance, an allergy, or require an alternative choice due to religious beliefs.
