Creative Afterschool Workshop

We welcomed into school Abi Nicol from Creative Futures on Thursday 1st February to deliver the first of five workshops to 20 Year 9 and Year 10 students. This workshop focused on theatre, set and prop design as a creative career.  Students were challenged to build a "festival" themed mini set with thought over scale, design and visitor interaction.  They worked organically to create their vision using a range of materials and textures resulting in a range of original and exciting ideas.  The workshops have been designed to introduce students to different careers in the creative sectors.
